Serving Hot Springs County Since 1937

The Hot Springs County Library provides a welcoming and supportive environment for all members of the community. As a vital public resource, the library is committed to meeting the informational, educational, cultural, and recreational needs of Hot Springs County residents.

A Brief History

Established in 1937, the library began as a Works Progress Administration (WPA) project and has grown with the community ever since. Originally housed in the courthouse, the library moved to its current location in 1984 and continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of its patrons.

Our Role in the Community

The library serves as a hub for learning and connection. In addition to lending books, DVDs, and other materials, we offer computer access, printing, public programs, meeting space, and digital resources — all free with a library card.

From early literacy programs to senior outreach, we believe in lifelong learning and inclusive access for everyone.
